Debra Thompson's influences are the pop artists, Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, and Wayne Thiebaud. Her art is mostly influenced by urban and Pop Culture, the artwork is created using spray paint and acrylics, which is then finished with paint, pens and oil sticks.

Debra is based in Hawkes’ Bay and has won art awards and featured in many exhibitions since 2018.
